What an incredible day! The DART Foundation has truly outdone itself with the opening of their new Community Centre in Krugersdorp. This is more than just a building—it’s a beacon of hope and a hub for growth that will uplift and empower every person who walks through its doors. Our deepest gratitude goes to HEF, Nedbank GT, Microsoft, and Legend Barber for making this dream a reality.

At Nedbank, we are passionate about fostering growth and development, and this day was a shining example of that commitment. Together with the Humanitarian Empowerment Fund and Microsoft, we were thrilled to be part of an unforgettable opportunity to upskill community members in computer knowledge, enhancing their employment prospects and building brighter futures.

On 29 July 2024, at the Krugersdorp Community Centre, we joined forces with our partners to introduce students to AI tools that put knowledge at their fingertips. Our technology experts delivered an inspiring presentation, showcasing how these tools can pave the way for endless possibilities.
This day was a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can create transformative change. Here’s to a future full of hope and opportunity!

Nelson Mandela Drive with Nedbank Foundation, HEF and Legend Barbers in Tongaat, KZN

In the wake of the recent tornado that struck Tongaat, KZN, the Nedbank Foundation HEF and Legend Barbers has stepped in to bring hope and restoration to the community. As part of Mandela Month, we have embarked on a three-day campaign, running from today until Friday, dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.

Our efforts were focused on repairing homes, distribution of food parcels, providing water and warm meals, painting an orphanage, and establishing a vegetable garden to promote sustainability. We were also joined by Legends Barber, where founder Sheldon himself served alongside us, offering free haircuts to uplift the spirits of the community.

Just a month ago, we witnessed the unstoppable power of green as our Nedbank family came together in an extraordinary show of support for Mandela Month. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every Nedbanker who participated. Your commitment to positively impacting our communities truly embodies the spirit of what Nedbank stands for.

What a day to remember! In celebration of Madiba Day, we joined hands with our wonderful partner, C&R Software, to bring joy to hundreds of children. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and countless blessings for these young hearts.
