In the wake of the recent tornado that struck Tongaat, KZN, the Nedbank Foundation HEF and Legend Barbers has stepped in to bring hope and restoration to the community. As part of Mandela Month, we have embarked on a three-day campaign, running from today until Friday, dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.
Our efforts were focused on repairing homes, distribution of food parcels, providing water and warm meals, painting an orphanage, and establishing a vegetable garden to promote sustainability. We were also joined by Legends Barber, where founder Sheldon himself served alongside us, offering free haircuts to uplift the spirits of the community.
Just a month ago, we witnessed the unstoppable power of green as our Nedbank family came together in an extraordinary show of support for Mandela Month. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every Nedbanker who participated. Your commitment to positively impacting our communities truly embodies the spirit of what Nedbank stands for.
